Centennial Park

| In celebration of the 100th year of Rotary in 2005,
the club has engaged in a project to revamp the canal area to the
Northwest of the SR274 and SR66 intersection in downtown New Bremen.
The project plan was brought before the village council in late July 2005
and it met with their approval.
After unsuccessful application for grant funding from the state, reconsideration of the scope of the project and resulting revisions to the proposed plans, the updated plans were approved by the village council in September 2007 and work on the project is scheduled to begin in October 2007.
