Grand Lake Health Systems Women's Imaging Center

Denise Pugh of the Women’s Imaging Center at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital presented a program about the Center that is part of the Grand Lake Health System.

Denise shared that you will feel the difference as soon as you walk through our doors.  The expert, caring staff is trained and dedicated to ensuring our customers privacy, dignity and comfort.  The state-of-the art facility maintains a quite, non-clinical atmosphere that instills confidence, but also puts the patient at ease.  

The technology at the center is considered to be the best in the region and offers Digital Mammography with Computer Aided Detection (CAD), Bone Density testing with an in-house DEXA Scanner, Ultrasound, Breast MRI, and Stereotactic Breast Biopsy.  The physicians and staff are exceptionally skilled and sensitive the to needs of women of all ages, and offer individual patient education.  They assist the patient in accessing any additional resources that may be required.  When appropriate, patients will meet with a radiologist who specialized in women’s imaging to address any concerns.  

Diagnostic test results are available the same day the tests are preformed and screening results are provided as soon as they are available, and always within two weeks.  The center offers routine daytime appointments as well as expanded evening and Saturday hours for the convenience of our customers.
