2006 Women's Hockey Team Olympian

Kristin King, a 2006 Olympic Bronze Medalist in Women's Hockey, addressed attendees at the club's weekly meeting.  

Kristin played in 4 games at the 2005 Women's Four National Cup in Finland where she scored a goal.  She was named to the 2005 World championship team and scored another goal there which helped the US claim the gold medal in Sweden.  In 2004 she played in 5 games at the Women's World Championship.  

Earlier in her career, from 1998-2002, she played at Dartmouth College and tallied 120 points in 127 games. She received the Kenneth Archibold prize and earned 1st team Ivy Legue honors during her junior and senior years at Dartmouth.

Kristin currently attends OSU (Go Bucks) majoring in Athletic Training and Physical Therapy.  She resides in Piqua Ohio and has 2 brothers, Stephen and Kiefer.  Her parents are Stephen and the late Mary Ellen King.
