Wright Patterson Air Force Base Lt. Colonel Ron Stauffer, USAF, presented the club with a history of the Dayton Air Base and gave an overview of the current operations at the base. Lt. Col. Stauffer is a 1979 graduate of New Bremen High School and holds a BS Degree in Aerospace Engineering from OSU and an MS in Aerospace Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. He resides in the Dayton area with his wife and son. After 11 years of active duty with assignments at Wright Patterson AFB and in DC, Lt. Col. Stauffer began duty as a reservist and worked as a civilian Program Manager at a Dayton area firm. He was recently recalled to active duty for a 6 month period and will be working at WPAFB during that time.
