Stan currently is refereeing Division 1 football. His big game this year was the Virginia Tech. vs Florida game which was held Labor day weekend. Stan typically does between 12 and 14 games a year. Division I referees typically get paid about $650 / game and they also get all travel expenses paid for as well. Not all conferences pay their refs the same. The Big Ten is the highest paying conference at $850 / game. Division III collegiate referees typically make about $85/game while the State of Ohio pays their refs anywhere between $50 and $75 / game.
